Hair extensions care instructions

VIRGIN HAIR is the healthiest and purest hair available anywhere in the world, cut straight from one consenting donor. It has all its natural properties still intact and has never been chemically processed or altered hence the high demand and the usual hefty price tag. To maximise results you’ll need to look after it as you would your own, so follow these few simple steps to ensure you stay looking fabulous! *Please note when having you extensions installed the weft/track must not be cut. This may result in shredding and damaging the hair.

WASHING YOUR VIRGIN HAIR

Treat your new virgin hair as you would your own. Wash regularly with warm to hot water to strip it of unwanted grease and dust particles from the air.

1. Wash your new hair with a good quality shampoo. We recommend our hair extensions shampoo available in our boutique.
2. Conditioning your hair is a MUST. Use a good quality conditioner to keep your new hair soft, healthy and shiny. We recommend our hair extensions conditioner available in our boutique.
3. Comb through with a big tooth comb or detangling brush to avoid damage. We recommend our hair detangling brush available in our boutique.

WASHING YOUR COLOURED HAIR

Your bespoke coloured hair is prepared especially for you with care. Your virgin hair has now been chemically processed and will need to be kept moisturised to maintain its optimum quality.

1. Wash your hair with a good quality shampoo. We recommend our colour shampoo available in our boutique.
2. Conditioning your hair is a MUST. Use a good quality conditioner to keep your new hair soft, healthy and shiny. We recommend our colour conditioner available in our boutique. We also recommend you deep condition your hair once a month to for added moisture.
3. Comb through with a big tooth comb or detangling brush to avoid damage. We recommend our hair detangling brush available in our boutique.

 

COLOURING YOUR HAIR

Your new virgin hair is unprocessed and as natural as natural can be so it may vary in colour as does your natural hair. If you want a change you can achieve good results colouring your hair providing you apply and care for it properly. We recommend getting your hair coloured by a professional hair colourist.

1. Choose a good quality hair dye brand
2. Follow the step by step instructions and use a timer
3. Wash it out properly
4. Use a good conditioner to keep the hair from drying out. We recommend our colour shampoo and conditioner available in our boutique.


HEAT PROCESSING YOUR NEW HAIR

Your new hair can withstand the heat from most if not all heat styling products in the market just as your own hair, so to ensure long lasting results make sure you protect it.

1. Conditioning your hair will provide some protection during blow drying, straightening and curling.
2. Use a good heat protection product in order to reduce damage. We recommend our thermal protection serum and shake & protect spray available in our boutique.
3. For maximum results allow your hair to dry naturally (without heat) BEFORE using any heat styling tools.
